Aram Khachaturian’s ‘Spartacus’ to be performed at 72nd Ljubljana Festival

The Ballet Theatre Astana Opera will present the famous creation of the outstanding Armenian composer and conductor Aram Khachaturian, the ballet “Spartacus”, in Ljubljana, Slovenia, on July 1–2 as part of the 72nd International Summer Festival.

According to the theater’s press center, “Spartacus” will be presented at the request of the festival organizers.

This famous ballet was staged in 2014 at the Astana Opera by Yury Grigorovich, a master of Soviet ballet.
