Aram Navasardyan: All mayoral candidates should express their position on the Artsakh problem

All mayoral candidates should express their position on the Artsakh problem and the blockade, as well as present their solutions; this way it would be easier for the Yerevan residents to make the right choice, Director of MPG company Aram Navasardyan told Alpha News.

“In order for people to clearly decide, it is necessary that all candidates express their position on the Artsakh problem and the blockade, as well as present their solutions. I think that their silence puts citizens in a difficult situation. Now we need to talk a lot about the Artsakh problem and present our own point of view. This is also an additional message to our citizens in order to understand which power can be trusted, and cast their vote,” Navasardyan said.

According to polls, 30-35% of citizens said they would not participate in the upcoming elections.

“I think that 50% of citizens will take part in the elections at best. All parties and blocs must first of all encourage people to participate in the elections. This can only happen if people see that mayoral candidates do not intend to be only managers of Yerevan,” Navasardyan added.
