Ararat Mirzoyan: We can unblock communications in the region 

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, at a meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov, suggested “not to limit ourselves to signing a peace treaty and go further and unblock transport communications in the region”.

“Once again, I would like to emphasize that Armenia is striving for peace, for the international treaty agreement. We are very constructively involved in the peace process, and moreover, we believe that we should not limit ourselves to signing a peace treaty. We can go further and unblock transport communications in the region with the understanding that all communications will be under the sovereignty and jurisdiction of the respective countries, and all procedures for crossing the state border will be agreed upon in accordance with the principle of reciprocity,” Mirzoyan said.
