A TV channel of the Italian region of Calabria reported about a unique archaeological find. During archaeological excavations in the town of Brancaleone, located at the very tip of the “boot country” on the shores of the Tyrrhenian Sea, an Armenian church of the 9th century was discovered.
Considering that the town is located on the seashore “facing” Greece, it is possible that the church was built by migrants from Byzantium.
