Archbishop Mikael Ajapahyan undergoes surgery again

Archbishop Mikael Ajapahyan, the head of the Shirak Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, has once again undergone surgery today, Armen Charchyan, Executive Director of the Izmirlian Medical Center, told Sputnik Armenia.

According to him, the archbishop’s surgery was successful. “This time the operation was urological in nature, and he will remain under our supervision for at least two weeks,” he said.

It should be noted that although the court replaced the archbishop’s detention with house arrest, he still remains at the Izmirlian Medical Center.
