Archbishop Yezras Nersissian to attend Supreme Spiritual Council meeting 

Yezras Nersissian, Head of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of New Nakhichevan and Russia, left for the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin to participate in the meeting of the Supreme Spiritual Council held under the leadership of Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II.

During the five-day meeting, the clergy will discuss issues related to the external threats facing Armenia and the domestic political situation in the country, the progress of the reconstruction of the Cathedral, the construction of the candle-lighting hall and the tomb of the Catholicoses, the reconsecration ceremony of the Cathedral and the consecration of St. Miro, as well as the legal status of the dioceses of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
