ARF-D Bureau expresses concern over latest events in Syria

The ARF-Dashnaktsutyun Bureau has issued a statement on the latest events in Syria.

“The ARF-Dashnaktsutyun Bureau is deeply concerned about the latest events in Aleppo and Syria in general. The main focus of our concern and attention is to ensure the safety of the Armenian community in Aleppo and Syria in general and to create tolerable living conditions. For this purpose, the ARF-D Bureau is constantly in contact with the local officials of the community, who are doing their best in this direction. For the same purpose, we are also in contact with Armenian spiritual leaders and various political circles.

The situation in Aleppo and in Syria in general is constantly changing. We urge our people all over the world to be vigilant and ready to provide all kinds of support to the Armenian community in Syria.

In the coming days, we will address our people with further clarifications and initiatives,” the statement reads.
