Argishti Hakobyan becomes boxing world champion

Armenia’s Argishti Hakobyan (63 kg) defeated Ivan Sinyak from Belarus and became the world champion in the finals of the IBA Junior World Boxing Championship held in Yerevan.

As reported earlier, Vagharshak Keyan (48 kg) and Tigran Hovsepyan (50 kg) became gold medalists, while Arno Darchinyan (46 kg), Aren Kharatyan (52 kg), and Samvel Siramargyan (70 kg) secured silver medals.
