Armen Abazyan dismissed as Director of Armenia’s National Security Service

By decision of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Abazyan has been dismissed from his position as Director of the National Security Service (NSS).

The duties of the director of the National Security Service will be temporarily assigned to Deputy Director Andranik Simonyan.

Armen Abazyan was appointed Director of the National Security Service on November 8, 2020.
