Armen Karapetyan claims bronze at World Veterans Freestyle Wrestling Championship

Armenian wrestler Armen Karapetyan (70 kg) won a bronze medal at the 2025 World Veterans Freestyle Wrestling Championship, held in Budapest from October 7 to 12, Sportaran reports.
In the bronze medal bout, Karapetyan claimed a confident 5-2 victory over Georgia’s Zviad Gvilava.
The gold medal in this weight category went to Germany’s Johannes Uhrenholt-Heindl, while Kazakhstan’s Nurlan Serikbol took silver.
