Armenia and Azerbaijan have received important chance for peace and stability in region – Erdogan

 
Armenia and Azerbaijan have received an important opportunity to ensure long-term peace and stability in the South Caucasus, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at a meeting with representatives of US think tanks at the Turkish House in New York.

According to him, Turkey’s position is to contribute to reducing disagreements, ensuring peace, and strengthening good neighborly relations.

“We believe that respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states, as well as the norms of international law, is inviolable. The modern world needs these principles more than ever,” the Turkish President stressed.
