Armenia and UAE recognize each other’s driver’s licenses

During a session, the Armenian government approved the ratification of a memorandum of understanding on the mutual recognition and exchange of driver’s licenses issued by the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Armenia and the UAE.

According to the memorandum, each party recognizes as valid the driver’s licenses issued by the other party to citizens visiting for purposes not related to residence.

For individuals arriving for residence purposes, each party exempts the applicant from theoretical and practical exams when applying to exchange a driver’s license issued by the other party.
