Armenia appeals to ECHR on protection of Ruben Vardanyan

The Government of the Republic of Armenia has appealed to the ECHR regarding the protection of former Artsakh State Minister Ruben Vardanyan, Spokesperson for Armenia’s representative for International Legal Affairs Hasmik Samvelyan said.

The Armenian side demanded that Baku provide information about Vardanyan’s whereabouts and condition.

It should be noted that the State Security Service of Azerbaijan confirmed the information about the arrest of Ruben Vardanyan.

Accompanied by members of the rapid reaction forces of the State Border Service, he was taken to Baku.
