Forbes highlights Armenia’s transformation into a significant center of technology and geopolitics. One of the key projects mentioned is the construction of a $500 million AI data center in partnership with Nvidia.
According to the article, the driving force behind these changes was the peace agreement with Azerbaijan brokered by Donald Trump, along with long-term investments from the Armenian diaspora.
“In the wake of the peace brokered by Donald Trump and after more than a decade of investment by the Armenian diaspora, Armenia is emerging as a small but formidable geopolitical hub, with a strategic location near Iran and Turkey, and an innovation economy that will now be powered by a $500 million data center powered by Nvidia chips.
The U.S. government recently approved the deployment of the chips into the data center, which will be operated by a joint Armenian-American company, Firebird.AI,” the article reads.
Among diaspora initiatives, Forbes points out the Aurora Humanitarian Project and the opening of the United World College in Dilijan.
