Armenia improves its position in Global Innovation Index 2025

Armenia has climbed to 59th place in the Global Innovation Index 2025, published by the World Intellectual Property Organization under the United Nations. This marks an improvement of four positions compared to 2024 and thirteen since 2023, reflecting a positive trend in the country’s innovation development.

The index evaluates countries based on seven key criteria, grouped into two sub-indices: Innovation Inputs (institutions, human capital and research, infrastructure, market and business sophistication) and Innovation Outputs (technology, knowledge economy, and creative activity). Armenia’s rise in the rankings reflects its commitment to strengthening its role in the global innovation landscape and enhancing its competitiveness on the international stage.
