Armenia leads EAEU in GDP and industrial production growth in first half of year

According to the EDB macroeconomic review, the growth rate of real GDP in Armenia amounted to 10.4% in the first half of this year compared to the same period last year.
This figure is the highest among the EDB member states: Kazakhstan (3.3%), Russia (4.7%), Belarus (5%), Kyrgyzstan (8.1%), and Tajikistan (8.2%).
The growth rate of real industrial production in Armenia is also the highest, reaching 18.2%, while in Belarus, this indicator is 7.1%; in Kazakhstan, it is 2.8%; in Kyrgyzstan, it is 1%; in Russia, it is 4.4%; and in Tajikistan, it is 11.5%.
