Armenia looks forward to the timely signing and ratification of the peace agreement with Azerbaijan. This was stated in Armenia’s interpretive declaration regarding the OSCE Ministerial Council on the Closure of the OSCE Minsk Process, Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson in Office on the Conflict Dealt with by the OSCE Minsk Conference and the High-Level Planning Group.

According to the Armenian Foreign Ministry’s press service, the statement was delivered on Wednesday by Armenia’s Permanent Representative to the OSCE, Andranik Hovhannisyan, during the 1533rd meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council.

The statement notes that Armenia and Azerbaijan jointly initiated the adoption of this decision based on a joint appeal by the foreign ministers of both countries, addressed to the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office. This appeal was signed on August 8, 2025, in Washington.
