During a survey conducted in Lori, residents spoke about the situation in the country and the promises of the authorities. One of the residents noted that the concept of a “proud citizen” no longer exists. According to him, the war and social insecurity have brought people to an extreme state: “The war in Artsakh has developed in such a way that we have stopped being proud. We are half-dead people.”
An elderly resident expressed dissatisfaction with the theses of the authorities that a citizen should independently open a business or find a job, without considering his physical condition: “I suffered a stroke, I had an open-heart surgery that lasted 9 hours. How can I do business?”

Residents highlighted that the state should stop making unrealistic statements and take over the social protection of its citizens, especially retired people, and people with disabilities.
