Armenia not ready to host 2027 CIS Games

Armenia is not ready to host the CIS Games in 2027, Deputy Minister of Education, Culture and Sports Karen Giloyan said at the conference of the CIS Council for Physical Culture and Sports in Gyumri.

He said that a number of major sporting events have already been planned in the country during this period, including the European Gymnastics Championships, World Weightlifting Championships and Pan-Armenian Games.

The conference was attended by representatives of Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
