Armenia notifies Russia about termination of border guards’ service at Zvartnots airport

Russia received a notification from Armenia about the termination of the service of Russian border guards at the Zvartnots airport, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told TASS.

“Indeed, we received a departmental letter in this regard, and contacts take place along departmental lines. I cannot say more than that now,” he said, commenting on Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s statement about Russian border guards.

“Contacts will surely continue at all possible levels,” the Kremlin spokesperson added.
