Armenia takes second place at European U17 Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship 2024

Armenia’s Greco-Roman wrestling team scored 132 points and placed second in the team standings at the European U17 Championship 2024, sportsball24. com reports.

It is noted that it is 17 more points than last year, when Armenia took third place.

Armenian wrestlers won 1 gold, 3 silver, and 1 bronze medals. Marat Achemyan (45 kg) claimed gold, Yuri Mkhitaryan (51 kg), Alex Margaryan (60 kg), and Seyran Kirakosyan (110 kg) took silver, and Narek Grigoryan (65 kg) became a bronze medalist.

The national team of Azerbaijan is in first place (183 points), Ukraine is third (121 points).
