Armenia to attend BRICS summit at PM’s level

Armenia will participate in the BRICS summit at the level of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the government’s press center reports.

Deputy Foreign Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan told reporters earlier that Armenia will attend both the BRICS summit and the informal summit of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

The annual BRICS summit will be held October 22-24 in Kazan, Russia. The informal summit of the CIS countries is planned to be held on the eve of the Victory Parade in Moscow.
