Armenian army chief participates in NATO Military Committee meeting in Brussels

The delegation headed by the First Deputy Defense Minister, Chief of the Armenian Army’s General Staff, Lieutenant-General Edvard Asryan, is on a working visit to Brussels from January 15 to 17 to participate in the meeting of the NATO Military Committee at the Allied Chiefs of Defense level.
The purpose of the meeting is to raise awareness of current global and regional threats and challenges and to seek collective solutions to mitigate them.
Issues discussed include the resilience of critical infrastructure in an era of climate change, widespread instability, emerging and disruptive technologies, hybrid and cyber threats, and partner country participation in NATO-led operations and missions.
