The Armenian community of Argentina has joined its efforts to receive, distribute, and pack donations for forcibly displaced persons from Artsakh.
Since the middle of the last week, the agencies of the Armenian communities of Buenos Aires, Cordoba, and Rosario, such as the Armenian Relief Society (ARS), Homenetmen, and ARF-D, have started a fundraiser for more than 100,000 compatriots forcibly displaced from Artsakh.
All funds raised will be sent to the Argentine humanitarian mission through the support of the White Helmets Commission of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade and will be delivered to Armenia by plane on October 21.
A total of 284 boxes are already ready to be sent, along with donations made in other centers such as the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU), the Hayastan All Armenian Fund, and the Armenian Church.
The work is coordinated by IARA (Armenian Institutions of the Republic of Argentina).
