The Armenian Defense Ministry refuted rumors about the demining and withdrawal of troops in the Gegharkunik region.

Earlier, there were reports that demining was being carried out in the direction of Chambarak and Jil and that Armenian Armed Forces units were allegedly withdrawn from the front line.

“Nothing of the sort is happening,” Aram Torosyan, the ministry’s spokesperson, told Sputnik Armenia.
