On November 29, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on the sidelines of the 30th OSCE Ministerial Council in Skopje, North Macedonia, the press center of the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported.
They discussed security and stability in the South Caucasus and the latest developments in the process of normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Mirzoyan underscored that despite Azerbaijan’s unconstructive conduct and the ethnic cleansing in Artsakh, as well as the humanitarian issues, Armenia has submitted to Azerbaijan proposals regarding the draft peace treaty in line with the well-known principles. Mirzoyan noted that in the case of Azerbaijan clearly committing to these principles, it will be possible to achieve significant progress in the direction of agreeing the draft.
The Armenian-American bilateral agenda was also discussed during the meeting.
On the sidelines of the 30th OSCE Ministerial Council, Mirzoyan also met with the UK Foreign Secretary, David Cameron.
“Exchanged views on our bilateral relations; we have just recently launched a strategic dialogue. Touched upon regional topics, developments in the South Caucasus,” Mirzoyan said in a post on X.
