Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, in a phone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi, offered condolences over the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and other Iranian citizens killed in US and Israeli strikes, the Embassy of Iran in Armenia reported.

Mirzoyan stated that Yerevan is ready to provide any necessary humanitarian assistance, expressing hope that the situation can be resolved through diplomatic means.

Araghchi, in turn, noted that the country is in a state of full-scale war. He said that the aggression of the United States and Israel has no justification, and therefore Iran intends to defend itself and avenge the death of its leader.
