Armenian Foreign Ministry announces when TRIPP construction will begin

The Armenian Foreign Ministry announced that the actual implementation and construction phase of the Trump Route project will begin in 2026, in response to a written inquiry from Sputnik Armenia.

The Ministry emphasized that Armenia is engaged in intensive negotiations with its US partners on the legal framework and regulations of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project.

It noted that the TRIPP Company, an Armenian-American joint venture, will be registered in Armenia and granted the rights to develop essential infrastructure, including railways, roads, oil and gas pipelines, and fiber-optic cables.

Armenia views the Trump Route project as an integral part of the government’s Crossroads of Peace initiative, which is fully compatible with major infrastructure projects, including the Middle Corridor and the Persian Gulf-Black Sea, aimed at developing regional connectivity.
