Armenian Investigative Committee discloses reason for searches in Electric Networks of Armenia and Narek Karapetyan’s residence

The Investigative Committee of Armenia has disclosed the reason for conducting searches at the Electric Networks of Armenia, owned by philanthropist and businessman Samvel Karapetyan, as well as at the residence of Narek Karapetyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ENA.

According to the committee’s spokesperson Kima Avdalyan, urgent investigative measures are carried out within the framework of criminal proceedings initiated by the General Department for Investigation of Economic Crimes and Smuggling, as well as the Investigative Department of Yerevan City.
