Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople visits Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On February 20, the Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople, His Eminence Archbishop Sahag Mashalian, arrived at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.

On this occasion, the clergy of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and the Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople marched to St. John the Baptist and St. Vardan Chapel-Baptistry, where Bishop Moushegh Babayan served the Hrashapar.

On behalf of the Congregation of the Mother See, Bishop Moushegh greeted and welcomed Patriarch Sahag.

The Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople conveyed his blessings and best wishes to the Congregation of Holy Etchmiadzin, thanking God that he is once again at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.

Patriarch Sahag will also take part in the meeting of the Supreme Spiritual Council to be convened at the Mother See.
