Armenian President signs law to begin Armenia’s EU accession process

The Armenian President signed a law on the beginning of Armenia’s accession process to the EU, according to an official statement on the Armenian President’s website.

“On April 4, President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturian signed laws on ratification of the agreement between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China on eliminating double taxation of income, preventing tax evasion and tax circumvention; on starting the process of accession of the Republic of Armenia to the European Union, as well as on making additions and amendments to the Tax Code of the Republic of Armenia,” the statement reads.
