Armenian Red Cross Society receives more than 80,000 applications from forcibly displaced Artsakh Armenians

The Armenian Red Cross Society received 80,205 applications to assess the primary needs of people forcibly displaced from Artsakh, Nune Grigoryan, Head of Information Department at the Armenian Red Cross Society, told Sputnik Armenia.

“The total number of applications received via the hotline and from communities is also taken into account,” she said.

According to Grigoryan, the Armenian Red Cross Society has been conducting a rapid needs assessment since September 24. First, the preliminary needs assessment was conducted at the humanitarian stations in Kornidzor and Vayk, followed by the provision of food, hygiene kits, bedding, and household items.
