Bethlehem once again came alive with a festive spirit as the traditional Christmas parade took place in Manger Square, near the Church of the Nativity. Dozens of scout troops participated, including Armenian scouts from Jerusalem.
To the sounds of drums and bagpipes, columns of scouts marched through the city streets, greeting residents and pilgrims. The participation of Armenian youth was a vivid testament to the presence and vitality of the Armenian community in the Holy Land.
By joining the parade, the Armenian scouts emphasized the importance of intercultural dialogue and the preservation of Christian traditions in a region where different communities have lived side by side for centuries.
