Armenian soldier dies in car accident

On December 15, a tragic road accident occurred in the Gegharkunik region, claiming the life of an Armenian serviceman.

At around 8:30 a.m., 24‑year‑old Gagik S., a resident of Yerevan, drove off the road at the 72nd kilometer of the Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan highway and crashed into trees. He died at the scene.

It was later determined that the driver was a serviceman. Information about the accident was transferred to the General Military Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia. An investigative team, along with military police officers, arrived at the site.
