Armenian State Symphony Orchestra is official orchestra of Dubai Film Music Week

The Armenian State Symphony Orchestra has been invited to participate in a series of film soundtrack concerts to be held in Dubai on May 9–13, Armenpress reports.
As the official orchestra of the festival, the symphony orchestra will give five concerts performing well-known melodies from iconic films.
One of the concerts will be dedicated to the legendary Italian composer, two-time Oscar winner, and three-time Golden Globe winner, Ennio Morricone.
The Armenian State Orchestra and the festival chorus will be led by the famous composer’s son, conductor Andrea Morricone.
On May 11, the concert will feature soundtracks from Star Wars written by American composer John Williams. On May 12, the orchestra will play soundtracks by Oscar-winning, Golden Globe-winning, and three-time Grammy Award-winning German composer Hans Zimmer. These two concerts will be conducted by Anthony Gabriel.
On May 13, the audience will be transported to the charm and magic of Charlie Chaplin’s silent movies. The conductor is Timothy Brock.
The concerts will take place at the Dubai Opera.
