Armenian students from Akhalkalaki celebrate Mother Language Day

The Demirchyan school of the Georgian Akhalkalaki celebrated International Mother Language Day. Students of the 7th grade organized a concert under the guidance of their teachers of Armenian and Georgian languages and music, jnews.ge reports.

The event kicked off with the anthems of Armenia and Georgia. The event was attended by the parents of the students as well as city officials.

Students recited poems about Armenian and Georgian languages, sang national songs, and performed Armenian and Georgian folk dances.
