Armenian students participate in Open World Astronomy Olympiad

The Open World Astronomy Olympiad has opened for the second time on the federal territory of Sirius in Sochi, Russia. More than one hundred students under 18 from 20 countries, including Armenia, Russia, Qatar, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Mongolia, Nicaragua, Peru, Egypt, Zimbabwe, and Cuba.
The Olympiad is held from September 15 to 22.
Winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad will receive not only medals and diplomas but also the opportunity to study ecology and climatology. Finalists will be able to meet leading scientists, experts, and members of international organizations.
