Armenian students win bronze medal at first International Artificial Intelligence Olympiad

 Armenian students won a bronze medal at the first International Artificial Intelligence Olympiad (IAIO), which was held September 8-12 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Gevorg Grigoryan, a 12th grade student of Photon College in Gyumri, won a bronze medal, and Eduard Arzumanyan and Sevak Yegoryan, students of Shahinian Special Physics School, received certificates of appreciation.

The Olympiad was held in 2 stages: theoretical and practical. The Armenian team was headed by Artur Avagyan (Executive Director of the YSU Information Technologies Educational and Research Center) and Mher Yerznkyan (AI Engineer of Buymie Company).

90 students from 25 countries participated in the Olympiad, with each country being represented by a maximum of 4 students.
