Armenian team defeats Faroe Islands at UEFA U16 Development Tournament

The Armenian national team held its second match within the UEFA U16 Development Tournament. This time, our team competed against the Faroe Islands team and won 1-0, Armenia’s Football Federation reported.

Armenia’s captain Tigran Ohanyan scored in the 54th minute of the match.

Alexander Petrosyan’s team lost 0-1 to the Maltese team in the first round. After two rounds, Malta’s U16 team leads the standings with 6 points. Armenia’s team is second with three points. The Faroe Islands team has 2 points, and Gibraltar has 1 point.
