Over the past two months, the Armenian Television and Radio Commission has detected two violations of the provisions of the agreement on the broadcasting of Russian TV channels on the territory of the country, the head of the Commission, Tigran Hakobyan, said at a meeting in the National Assembly on Thursday.

According to him, the Commission compiled a list of the violations and sent it to the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of Armenia.

Hakobyan noted that violations were recorded in December 2022, as well as in September and October 2023.

Hakobyan also said that he met three times with the Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of Russia and representatives of the Russian Service for Supervision of Communications and Mass Media. Moreover, he personally provided them with the list of violations.
