Armenian weightlifting teams secure top honors at European Championships

The Armenian men’s and women’s national teams emerged as the winners of the team standings at the European Championships, the Armenian Weightlifting Federation reports.

In the men’s competition, Varazdat Lalayan and Garik Karapetyan claimed gold medals, while Gor Sahakyan, Rafik Harutyunyan and Simon Martirosyan secured silver. Garnik Chaloyan and Davit Hovhannisyan earned bronze.

From the women’s team, Alexandra Grigoryan, Anna Amroyan and Liana Gyurjyan each took home silver medals.
