Armenians are against Biden because he is complicit in the forced displacement of Artsakh Armenians – Rostom Sargsyan

Any state’s attitude towards Armenia is based solely on its interests, political scientist and lecturer Rostom Sargsyan told Alpha News.

“Biden-Harris will treat Armenia the same way as before. Every country cares about its own interests, and it does not matter who the president is. The president can express his opinion, but if it is contrary to the interests of the United States or does not serve its interests, the president will not take any steps. Any state’s attitude towards Armenia is based on its interests. We, Armenians, must also care about our interests and worry about Armenia,” Sargsyan said.

Our interlocutor agrees that Joe Biden is complicit in the forced displacement of Armenians from Artsakh. Rostom Sargsyan advised American Armenians to voice their demands more clearly.

“Armenians are against Biden because he is complicit in the forced displacement of Armenians from Artsakh. We are a small community and have little political participation, but we must clearly demand what we want. Armenians in America can influence the election results since there are Republicans, Democrats, and those who are neutral. There are also people among us who do not believe anything.

If Trump wins the election, the first thing that will change is US foreign policy, because America does not want war. They can sell weapons to others to wage wars, but the US specifically does not want this,” Rostom Sargsyan concluded.
