Armenians have always enjoyed respect and affection of Iran’s spiritual leader – Ambassador

Iran’s Ambassador to Armenia, Khalil Shirgholami, held a press conference where he emphasized that Armenians have always enjoyed the respect and affection of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Khamenei.

“The grief over the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader is immense, but Iran’s determination to preserve the country is even stronger. True aspirations do not end with a person’s death—something the Zionists and Trump’s regime failed to understand,” the ambassador said.

According to Shirgholami, 153 schoolgirls were killed as a result of the attack.

“This leaves an indelible and shameful mark on the attackers. Every strike will have a response. From the very beginning, we declared that any military base would become a target for our counterattack.

Our strikes are not against neighbors, but against the United States. Iran is a country with a 7,000-year-old civilization, and such aggressions are nothing new to us. The longer the aggression continues, the more we will defend our country,” he said.
