Armenians of Georgia celebrated Tsakhkazard

The Georgian Diocese of the Armenian Church celebrated Tsakhkazard (Palm Sunday) on April 13, jnews. ge reports.

On this day, the ceremony of blessing children was conducted in the Armenian churches of Georgia. In celebration of the holiday, a Holy and Immortal Liturgy was held at the churches of Surb Gevorg and Surb Etchmiadzin. All active churches held a festive service and distributed symbolic willow branches to the faithful.

In the evening of Palm Sunday, a door-opening ceremony was also performed in Armenian churches in Tbilisi.
