Armwrestler Azat Srapyan wins European vice-champion title

Armenia’s Azat Srapyan, who made his first sporting steps in Verin Getashen village of Martuni community of Gegharkunik region, secured a silver medal at the European Armwrestling Championship in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Srapyan became a three-time European vice-champion in the right armwrestling bout. Those who took the 1st and 2nd places were given the opportunity to participate in the prestigious tournament.

Athletes from 29 countries participated in the European Championship.
