Around 850 Armenian vehicles waiting to pass Russian-Georgian border at Verkhny Lars checkpoint

2.7 thousand vehicles are waiting to pass through the Russian-Georgian border at the Verkhny Lars checkpoint, the Traffic Management Center of North Ossetia reports.

As of the morning of July 29, 2.734 trucks were registered in the electronic queue for passage, including 847 Armenian vehicles.

On July 26, traffic through Verkhny Lars was banned for several hours due to mudflow, the road was opened later. The Georgian Military Highway is the only functioning land road linking Armenia with Russia (via Georgia).
