On November 7, Pasadena will host a concert-meeting of singers and songwriters Arsen and Artur Safaryan. In the Alpha News studio, they told us what to expect from the event.

“Our meeting-concert will take place in Pasadena on November 7. The event will feature songs that I previously presented as video, but with acoustic arrangements. That is, we will have only 2 guitars and 2 microphones, and nothing more. The program includes about 20 songs, we tried to include those that are the most popular. Of course, there are new songs that our audience has not heard yet, there are songs that have not yet been recorded, but we perform them live on stage. We will also perform songs that will surprise our audience. When composing the program, we tried to look through the eyes of the audience, so it will be multi-genre and interesting,” Arsen Safaryan said.

According to him, there will be direct contact with the audience during the concert.

“The most important thing for us is to have a proper meeting with the people who missed us, who want to hear our songs and sing with us. We will be waiting for everyone to convey to them our warmth brought from our homeland,” the singer said.

Speaking about the Artsakh war, Artur Safaryan mentioned: “It was normal for me when we made the decision in 2020 and went to fight for our homeland, for Artsakh. But this does not mean that if, God forbid, the same thing happened in some region of Armenia, we would not have done the same. It is normal that during a war, people go to the battlefield. There we did everything we could, everything we were told. We just wanted to be next to our soldiers.”
