Arsen Baghryan named Best Wushu Athlete of 2025 by International Wushu Federation

The International Wushu Federation (IWUF) named Armenian athlete Arsen Baghryan the Best Wushu Athlete of 2025, highlighting both his sporting achievements and his personal qualities.

In its statement, IWUF emphasized that Baghryan is regarded as one of Armenia’s strongest athletes, distinguished by outstanding physical abilities, discipline, and exemplary character.

In 2025, Baghryan captured the title of European champion. He began practicing wushu at an early age and has repeatedly claimed the title of national champion of Armenia, as well as victories in European and international tournaments. One of his most recent major accomplishments was winning the bronze medal in the under-60 kg weight category at the 17th Wushu World Championships.
