Artsakh Armenians protest outside government building in Yerevan

Forcibly displaced Artsakh Armenians are staging a protest outside the government building in Yerevan, expressing opposition to the Armenian authorities’ stance on their return to their homeland.

In his address to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that returning to Artsakh is unrealistic and that the future of the Artsakh people is in Armenia.

According to the protesters, the people of Artsakh should have the right to determine their own future, and with competent leaders, the goal of returning home is achievable.
