Artsakh Armenians were displaced as a result of the use of force, French Ambassador to Armenia says

French Ambassador to Armenia Olivier Decottignies said during a meeting with the members of the Armenian National Assembly that the Artsakh Armenians were displaced as a result of the use of force.

“The 9-month blockade was followed by the forced displacement of the population of Nagorno-Karabakh. It is important to take into account that Azerbaijan resorted to these measures with the complicity of Russia and the support of Turkiye,” the French diplomat said.

The Ambassador also added that France supported the Armenian people both during the nine months of the blockade of Artsakh and after it.
